On the Birthday of Robert Schumann

“People say 'it pleased,' or 'it did not please,', as if there were nothing higher than the art of pleasing the public...it is the artist's lofty mission to shed light on the depths of the human heart...the laws of morality are also those of art.”

Robert Schumann
(June 8th, 1810—July 29th, 1856)

Constituent Question on Agriculture

June 4, 2010 -- On Agriculture...

Dear Rachel,

Expropriate British Petroleum

June 3, 2010 -- British Petroleum should be expropriated by the U.S. government, and President Obama should be impeached. Since President Obama's inauguration, the effect of his policies has been more of that of an agent of the British Empire seeking to destroy the country, than a President of the United States. His action in the matter of the scandalous case of British Petroleum illustrates the point.

Barney Frank Pledges Support for Derivatives

May 27, 2010 -- It's a bit ironic, that as Germany moves to defend their nation by imposing a ban on all "naked" short sales in the country, Barney Frank moves to defend London and Wall St., pledging to remove Blanche Lincoln's ban on derivatives from the financial reform bill.

Rachel Brown Endorses Glass-Steagall Resolution

May 25th 2010 -- The Rachel Brown Campaign, currently running against "Bailout-Barney" Frank, issued the following endorsement of a legislative resolution recently posted on LaRouchePAC.com, calling for an immediate reinstatement of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933:

Press Release - Rachel Brown to File Her Nomination Papers

Boston, May 25—Rachel Brown will file her nomination papers on Thursday, May 27, at 10:30am with the Secretary of the Commonwealth, to be placed on the Democratic Party primary ballot, as a candidate for the Fourth Congressional District, for the September 14, 2010 primary. Below is her official statement of candidacy.

A Re-Vaulting Development

May 21, 2010, Boston -- Rachel Brown, who is running in the Democratic Party primary against Rep. Barney Frank, issued the following statement, after being told that Senator Scott Brown sought assurances from Frank, that Boston's "Vault" institutions would be protected from regulatory scrutiny, under provisions of Sen. Dodd's phony regulatory reform bill:

Patriots! We Have more time to force the Glass-Steagall Bill through!

May 19, 2010 -- I am pleased that Senators Cantwell, Brown and Feingold had the guts to oppose Harry Reid's move for Cloture on the Dodd financial bill earlier today. This means that all American Patriots have more time to mobilize everyone to get their respective Senators to support the introduction and adoption of the Cantwell-McCain amendment for the restoration of Glass-Steagall. The Glass-Steagall bill is the only choice for separating legitimate banking from financial houses of Speculation, which is the same reason the Obama White House and Senators like Harry Reid and others are jumping to the defense of Wall St. with the move to shut down the debate, and any further amendments to the Dodd Bill, especially Cantwell-McCain.

On a related note, the decision by the German Government to effectively put an end to speculation today shows that we are in the middle of a global fight between the reigning global financial system centered in the City of London and Wall St., and the forces committed to defending the populations of their respective nations against further looting. This only heightens the need for all Patriots to mobilize like hell to ensure the passage of the Cantwell-McCain bill in the United States.

Passing the Glass-Steagall is An Existential Issue for Civilization

May 14, 2010 -- The McCain-Cantwell Glass-Steagall amendment has been moved up to be debated today in the Senate Chamber, voting will resume Monday. This means we have this weekend to mobilize for the passage of this amendment, which will force a bankruptcy process of the entire United States financial system. If passed in the US, this will set the tone for the rest of the world to follow suit.

Obama Acting to Stop Glass-Steagall And Bring On Global Hyperinflation

May 12, 2010 -- We must restore Franklin Roosevelt's Glass-Steagall, as introduced by Senators McCain and Cantwell. Sources report that while this Glass-Steagall amendment is getting support from 78% of the US population, President Obama, Tim Geithner, and Larry Summers are working to create a new global hyperinflation policy, while attempting to kill this amendment in the Senate. Over the weekend, Geithner and Summers were instrumental in guaranteeing an unlimited supply of U.S.
