As Cities Disintegrate, Obama Pushes More Cuts - Restore Glass-Steagall Now
July 15, 2010 -- I've been seeing through my campaign a very disturbing picture emerge, of the collapse of local governments, layoffs of police, firefighters, and municipal workers, cutbacks in local libraries and schools, and a growing sense of hopelessness. This is what economist Lyndon LaRouche meant in July 2007, when he forecast that we were headed into a dark age, if we allowed the financial disintegration to continue uncontrolled.

July 9, 2010 -- As millions in the United States are left without unemployment benefits, U.S. states and municipalities are making drastic budget cuts, laying off thousands of necessary workers. As European economies are facing a similar situation, it is clear that this system is melting down. Lyndon LaRouche, the world's greatest economic forecaster, was right, when he said that as of last month, the United States has entered a situation where unless the Glass-Steagall policy is adopted, the U.S. economy will disintegrate.

Two million unemployed lose their benefits this week, destitute of help from the Federal government, and are left to fend for themselves or get aid from the already bankrupt states. Meanwhile, Bailout Barney touts “the greatest financial reform since the Great Depression;” while on Wall St. celebrations are made, “this is a victory for us.”

Barney Frank Lies to Brookline Democratic Town Committee
June 22, 2010 -- When Barney Frank spoke to a group of supporters at the Brookline Democratic Town Committee meeting June 13th, he lied. In response to my charge that he opposed the reinstatement of Glass-Steagall, he said that he voted against the repeal of Glass-Steagall in 1999 in the Gramm-Leach-Bliley bill. He did vote against it, but not because of the repeal of Glass-Steagall, which his own statements from the time show.
Barney Frank Knows Nothing About Economics
June 15, 2010 -- In response to my denunciation of Barney Frank as a British traitor Sunday June 13th at a Brookline event, Barney Frank himself proved the case to be true. He demonstrated clearly his main priority as a congressman: to allow speculation to continue, to adhere to President Obama's austerity agenda, and to deny the means of creating a future, by abolishing our manned space program. He said:
1.) He's not for impeachment.
2.) We shouldn't spend a trillion dollars on a manned space program when we have domestic problems, robots are the way to go.
Rachel Speaks at Brookline Democratic Party Meeting
June 14, 2010 – LaRouche Democrat and Congressional pre-candidate Rachel Brown addressed the Brookline, MA Democratic Town Committee spring meeting yesterday, along with her opponent, Congressman Barney Frank. Rachel Brown was the first speaker, and began with a firm call for Obama's impeachment, and clearly laid out her intent to act in the spirit of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, by implementing Glass Steagall and canceling derivatives.
British Act of War on U.S. Waters
June 12, 2010 -- "There is no question that the continuation of this problem in the Gulf, is expressly the warfare-like intention of the British Empire against the United States," charged Lyndon LaRouche on June 8.
"Remember, BP is the personal asset of the British monarchy," LaRouche added. "It's an imperial, Anglo-Dutch imperial entity," carrying out "a sabotage operation against the economy and people of the United States." Obama is defending it, therefore "the President is a complicit traitor to the United States in this war."
